4th ed D&D review
Sep. 5th, 2008 11:06 amThe changes from 3.5 have a systematic bias against playing Steve Irwin. Not that that is stopping me, of course.
Improved grapple - gone
Staff - no longer a double weapon- you can not poke things with a stick effecively. Suck.
Nature - a crippled shadow of Knowledge: nature and Survival. Seriously, I can't identify a snake (it wasn't a snake. It was some sort of snake-resemeling spell).
Favoured enemy: crocadile - gone
Also we were playing in quite a big group so I felt kind of like I was annoying people when I spent time shouting criky! rather than getting on with things, but thats not a system problem.
If the 4th ed changes have a corrisponding pro-Mr. T bias, I may forgive it. I haven't looked yet.
