Le Morte d'oolong
Sep. 29th, 2015 10:16 pmoh ugh I really haven't had time to get this done properly. First pass is probably all you'll get- and it covers all the important bits i.e. the single combats that oolong knows about. Anyone who doesn't know about Sir Marrok is really missing out.
I Of Necoctzicoatl
It so happed that there was at that time a most disworshipful lord of the miscreatures that height Necoctzicoatl. And this lord had many miscreatures and warriors and enchanters of mal-engine. And upon a day there set forth a fellowship, for to meet with them in a fair field, so that the people should not be destroyed in their default. And it so happed that this fellowship set forth from Wing Keep by means of a great enchantment that height FRAN.
II Of those that were infellowship and their allies
And it so happed that there were many good warriors and noble enchanters that set forth for to have ado with the miscreatures of Necoctzicoatl and these were led by Captain Gerrard Knight that was a right good man of his hands and passing well breathed, and with him were Theron Hawkwood, the enchanter, and Paladin Vertonius that was a good warrior and a holy man, and Rose-Annabelle of the Dumnonnii that was a goodly leech, and Lamoriel, that was the stillest of scouts, and Druid Sy, that had sworn a goodly oath that she should never touch no metal, and Arch Pyromancer Physara, the good enchanter, that ventured her body as poor warriors do, and Archmage Faliece Lacflay, the good damosel, and Paladin Redemption, the curteist of warriors, and with them also was Lead Sergeant Caledfwlch ap Brochvale Dumnonii that was a passing strong warrior, and Sergeant Elvin Drude, that was a right good man of his hands, and Corporal oolong, and Corporal Phillip Anders, the wise scout, and Witch Hunter Robin, that was a strong warrior 'gainst the mis-creatures, and Paladin Archer that was seven months a mushroom, and Marshal Bartholomew the goodly leech and a strong warrior. And so this Gerrard set Redemption in particular defence of Rose, the goodly leech and Faliece, the goodly enchanter, for these were both damosels and if any miscreature should offer them hurt then they would surely slay them, and this should be greatly to the disworship of that fellowship.
III How that fellowship set forth
IV How they were foughten with many miscreatures
And so they fought with many miscreatures, but they were of little strength and were without worship, but great hardiness, and such was the enchantment upon them that though they should be slain, they should rise again after a time. And therefore it was the custom of that party that they should await their rising and so strike them down in a body, and this were no worship, for they were but piteous creatures and so they slew them an they might. But Gerrard spake with bobaunce ere they might raise, that they should surely slay them, and as I wottest, this were not to his worship, for they were but piteous miscreatures.
V How came they to a castle, and how they were sore assailed, and how they were relieved
Saturday
VI How Redemption and Physara accorded them
And it so happed that, Paladin Redemption bade them good night and so rested him, but it was the custom of the Amazons that no warrior should speak so, and so they said, good warrior Physara, he hath disworshiped thee, therefore thou shouldst be foughten with him upon pain of forfeiture of thy worship. And when oolong wottest this, he was passing glad, for these were both good warriors, and Redemption was a holy man, and well breathed, and Physara was a passing good enchanter, that did wonders by her mean, and each was passing worshipful, and it was ever his joy to see good warriors foughten with each other for to prove their goodly prowess.
And so on the morn they all arose, and brake their fast, and then was oolong ware that Physara and Redemption spake with one another of the adventure of the day, that was to strive against the scorpion, and spake not of their goodly combat, and so he said, shall thou not have ado with one another? For it hath been said that it were disworshipful of thee to bid this good warrior good night. I take no force, said Physara, but I would be foughten with this good warrior in tourney for to increase my worship and so they accorded them.
VII How they rescued the prisoners of the Amazons of ill-will
VIII How Lamorial behaved her
IX Of the strange devises of the shrine, and of various animals, and of an old man
X How there was a room, and many statues, but at the last they wot not its purpose
XI How Rose strove with Diverse Objects, and at the last overcame them
Right so came they to a chamber, that held a statue, and they entered it, and it so happed that a great wall sprung up betwixt the fellowship, and so parted them, and then there was a box in the hands of the statue, and a key, and a chain, and a lock and key and many links, and a rook. Then was oolong ware that beyond the wall there was great noise, that were the other part of the fellowship, crying, alas for we are parted, but if we get the rook, then might we be united, and also, there are letters here icripture that tell that the statue shall take the rook if it can. Then spake Redemption that it was like unto most worshipful public-key cryptography, for it was the custom of the Paladins of the North that they should have passing strong cryptography, and richly beseen, and that they needs must give the box unto the statue, and that the others must return it with their lock, but keep them their key, for by this device the rook should pass the statue. And then they did by his advice, and Rose strove with box and the rook and many links of chain, and with their key and fastened the rook fast in the chest, but ever the links strove against her, and lay awk, and so these objects kept them, that she might not overcome them.
And it so happed that there came a warrior within that chamber, for to slay them, and so oolong and Redemption and Theron were foughten with that warrior that it might come not nigh to the damosel Rose. And it so happed that ever did Faliece cry out, what dost thou with thy lock? And so Rose made passing great dole, for it seemed her that they should all be destroyed in her default. But rested her a little and lightly voided the statue, and then recountered her with the box, and waxed passing wotting, and at the utterance she overcome it, and then parted they lightly, but it so happed that Rose was paralysed.
XII How, by sudden adventure, Theron Hawkwood was foughten with the Master
Then passed they aways and passed them through many chambers and over a bridge that was guarded by a strange device, but it so happed that they ran foot-hot through this strange adventure and took not hurt, so it was of little moment.
Then were they ware of an old man, and many statues that walked them from place to place, and a chess board, and by sudden adventure, Theron entered that chamber and offered him to play, and so they strove long time, and took many terrible maims, and at the last he overthrew him and all his statues. Now it so happed that none might enter that chamber the whiles they strove, save Faliece and Rose, the good damosels, and those without might not know what happed, and so talked they of many things.
XIII How that fellowship was foughten with the fay of the Vale
XIV How they were foughten with many Drow
It so happed that the goodly garrison brought them meat and drink of the best, and so rested them. And then that fellowship held them that castle ruinous, and made it passing strong, for in the night they wottest that they should be sore assailed. And then by adventure there came many miscreatures, and Drow that were passing good men of their hands, and they foughten with them. And wit thee that these Drow were passing trenchant, for they did all marvellous deeds, and came on wightly, for there harness was of enchantment, and they struck many sad strokes, that it was a marvel that the fellowship might stand. But ever did Gerrard mock them and speak shame unto them in the foulest manner, that he had disdain and scorn to be foughten with such warriors as they were. For ever was the Gerrard a bawdy speaker.
And by sudden adventure, this fellowship was ware that there was a device of much enchantment fast by that castle, and so divided them and hastened them to have ado with that enchantment and those that went were Archer that was a good man of his hands, and Robin that took miscreatures in especial to be her foe, and oolong the good warrior, and Theron that was a good enchanter and Physara the noble enchanter. And so departed them suddenly and recountered they with a grimly mis-creature that barred the path. This miscreature, said Archer, I will have ado with, therefore pass thee on, and so parted them.
Now leave we noble Archer, and speak we of that fellowship that ran foot-hot to the ceremony of mal-engine, and, coming upon them suddenly, overthrew them and put them to the worst. Then searched they all that place for strange things and voided them lightly to recounter with Archer, that ever and anon was foughten with that strong miscreature. Now wit thee that it were a marvel that Archer had not been overthrown in that time, and so made they passing good cheer. And then fought they all with that strong creature, and lashed together eagerly with swords, and mightily, now tracing and traversing on the right hand and on the left hand. And sometime they rushed together with such might that it were a marvel that they might stand. And so at the last they overcame it, but Theron was passing sore wounded, and then returned they to the castle.
XV Of the most worshipful combat that was between Redemption and the Drow
Now speak we of that fellowship that held the castle, that were Gerrard and Redemption and Vertonius, and many others, and so the book maketh mention, they were sore assailed by many foes, for there were many Drow, that foughten by enchantment, and with them were creatures of shadow, and foulest of miscreatures. And wit thee that these Drow wove such mighty spells that it were a wonder that any might stand, for they dealt many sad strokes that no harness might aid 'gainst them. Then it so happed that Redemption was foughten with such a warrior, and so were they ware of each other's worshipful prowess. Fair warrior, said that warrior, it would beseem me to have ado with thee and no other, for I would fain be foughten with so good a warrior as thou art. And gat him a great sword. Then Redemption dressed his shield afore him, and so he drew out his mace. And then they came together a soft pace, and wonderly they lashed together passing thick the mountenance of a quarter hour or ever they breathed. And so they traced and traversed, and waxed wonderly wroth, and either behight other death. And when Redemption beheld his fellow's sword over-hylled with his blood it grieved him sore: some while they foined, some while they struck as wild men. And so they fought them long time.
XVI How oolong would be foughten with him, and how Redemption rebuked him.
Now it so happed that they while they fought them, that oolong came upon them and lashed at the Drow, but Redemption cried out, hold thee! For this combat hath been given me, that I should have ado with this good warrior, for the increase of my worship, and therefore thou shalt not strike him, but an thou wouldst disworship me, and so oolong would not meddle with that Drow.
XVII How the Drow rebuked his fellow
Right so in that medley cam a second Drow, that espied that Redemption was assailed passing sore and so bethought him that if he should aid that first Drow then they might lightly overthrow him, and put him to the worse, but the Drow cried out, strike not this good warrior, for me list to have ado with him, and ye do not worshipfully to smite him down suddenly, and so that Drow passed him aways, and had ado with oolong.
XVIII How Redemption had the victory, and so won much worship
But at the last the Drow waxed faint, because of his enchantment. Fair warrior, said Redemption meseemeth we have assayed either other passing sore, and if it may please thee, I require thee of thy goodness tell me thy name, that I might do thee worship for it beseemeth me that thou art a passing good warrior. Sir, said the Drow to Redemption, that is me loath to do, and moreover, neither shall I do ought else, for I am slain by my enchantment, and therewith he died. And so Redemption made dole, for he was a good warrior and a right good man of his hands, and worshipful. Alas, that thou should be slain by thy enchantment, said Redemption. And so Redemption won great worship.

Sep. 1st, 2015 08:38 pmLe morte d'oolong Book 5: how they strove them wit the Temple of Death
I Of the manor of Marshal Barr, and the fellowship that went thence.
It so happed that in that time there was a manor that height the manor of Marshal Barr. And it so happed that this Marshal Barr was an holy man, and a right good man of his hands and that he had striven long time 'gainst those most disworshipful enchanters that were called the Temple of Death. And it so happed that this Marshal had died, and the manor was held by his son, but he was of little worship and so leave we him and speak we of Marshal Iron, that assummoned many warriors and goodly enchanters and bade them go forth, for that manor was haunted by many strange marvels.
And in charge of this fellowship was Paladin Glamoria Carpenter that was a goodly warrior and passing holy, and with them was a goodly scout that height Kadija and also there was Eorith, that was a goodly leech, and Thyrian Fireheart the good enchanter, and Theron Hawkwood that was aforetime in the fellowship of Baron Van Heusen, but now held he with the Towers of magic. Also there was one that height Guardian Kane and pyromancer Náriel, the good enchanter, and there too was oolong that was a good warrior, and these were all noble warriors or else goodly enchanters.
And so this fellowship went aways to the manor, and there met them with servants, that spake of divers signs by which they bethought them haunted, but was Kadja ware of an apparition that was invisible to all others, and it spake not but let her know by signs that it was the ghost of Marshal Barr, and when everych of that fellowship was spoken with the servants or yet the son then parted them and Kadja suffered the apparition to have speech though her.
II Of the speech of Marshal Barr
And then this ghost bade them go forth to the village for it was invested of miscreatures that were the warriors of his old enemies, that he had struck down, but the which now rose again as creatures of mal-engine and most foul enchantment, and by their means they had Marshal Barr's spirit in thrall, but that he had 'scaped them. So gathered they and went to the village.
III Of the journey to that village
And so went they aways, and met them with warriors and miscreatures of the Temple of Death, that held against them, but they did them such deeds of arms, and the goodly enchanters put forth their power so that they took little hurt, but that Eorith was struck astonied, and an enchanter of the temple struck oolong by a subtle working so that he was greatly afeared, so that he might not move, but then he bethought him that in that in that wise he should win but little worship, and so he strove with them again and put them to the worse and struck them down. And so hie them to the village.
And the whiles they traversed, oolong and Theron spoke a little, of quests that they had enchieved, and of what fellowships they had been, for Theron knew not that Baron Scara'Fould was a most disworshipful lord and that he used ill customs. And hast thou been infellowship with that warrior that height Lorgar? said Theron, for I have oft been put to the worse the whiles I have been in fellowship with him, for it is his custom to never hold together, but to rush and traverse that in no ways might he defend me, and so it oft haps that he requireth rescue. That is not warriorly done, said oolong, but it is oft a goodly custom of damsels that they be prisoned and so some good warrior may rescue them and win worship.
IV of the village
Now turn we to the village that was sore pressed with foul creatures, and so invested that them they might not stir without. But that town was passing strong, for they had fortified them aforetimes at the avisement of Marshal Barr, and so they kept them, but by the mean of the Temple of Death, there was sickness in that village, and so their strength waneth. But this noble fellowship came upon them and fought with the miscreatures long time and so slew them. Right so did Eorith and Glamoria that were a goodly leech and a holy warrior tend to the people and so by their grace cured them. And these villagers spake of the warnings that Marshal Barr had made the whiles he yet lived, that there was a ruin in the forest that was of mal-fortune and many strange haps.
Right so that fellowship yode them to that ruin, and there were many miscreatures that held the passages against them. And so the fellowship strove with them, and there were many passages of arms, and it so happed that Náriel was taken unware and so she was put to the worse and with that came Glamoria and slew them. And so Náriel made piteous complaint: I pray thy forgiveness, said Náriel, for aforetimes when I have cried for aid I was put to the disworship by that fellowship. It is no force, said Glamoria, for it is to my worship to do aid to noble warriors and goodly enchanters. Then was oolong foughten with a mighty enchanter of the Temple of Death, that wove such an enchantment that he needs must flee, and a strong miscreature ran foot-hot after him, and so turned him and strove with it, but it had the better of him, and gave him terrible maims, and so by adventure he recountered with Eorith that blessed him and made him hale and Kane laid such an enchantment on him that it might do no harm, and so turned him again and strove and so overcame it.
V Of the slaughter of those miscreatures
And as the book rehearseth these miscreatures rose again and yet again, but such was the blessings of Eorith's god that it happed only as she list, and so they slew them with little hurt. But at the end of that slaughter, they were all forfoughten, and so rested they a while, save oolong and Kadja, and the whiles they waited they spoke of their quest, forsooth, said oolong, 'twould be greatly to our worship an we were to enchieve this quest the whiles our fellows sitteth in rest. That were ill done said Kadja, for this is a mighty foe, and therefore it is more to our worship that we should bide with this goodly fellowship and thereby overcome them and so they accorded them both. But soon was Náriel complished of her meditations, and so joined them and she list to be foot-hot on the quest. That ye shall not do by my council said Kadja and so waited them and put them in array and then parted them.
VI Of the adventure of the portal
Right so came they to that ruin. And there they found many creatures of evil will, and passing strong. Guard thyself, said oolong, for I will have ado with thee. And so fought they together, and rushed together and there was a great medley, and so they traced and traversed, and waxed wonderly wroth, and each struck many sad strokes, and at the last oolong was foughten with a strong warrior and he wist that he was passing strong, and that this warrior was better breathed, so that at the last he would overcome him, but right so came Theron, and these two warriors fought together and so won the degree.
Then was oolong ware that Náriel was foughten with a ghost afore an uncouth door and so aided him she and then they had the better. And many of that fellowship strove with many miscreatures, but beyond that door were strange adventures, as the book now reherseth. For oolong and Náriel accorded them and passed that door. And it so happed that an they traversed that door, of a sudden were they in great pain that they might not stand, but lightly they recovered them, and many ghost came upon them, and so fought they. Then were they ware of a spirit that was prisoned, that spoke curteist that it was the spirit of Marshal Barr. Right so by the mean of Náriel, that prison brast to-shivers, and so rescued him, and returned they to the fellowship, that strove with many creatures of mal-engine, and many good warriors were passing weak, that they might not stand, and this were by the mean of the Temple of Death. Noble oolong, said Glamoria, take up mine sword, for methinketh that you shall do the better. I shall do an thee list, said oolong. And so fought he with that creature of mal-engine that had Marshel Barr in thrall as I have afore rehearsed, and at the last overcome them. Then rested they and Kadja made shift to search for any other that were of a part to that ill temple.

Feb. 16th, 2013 05:16 pmNotes towards best practice for the operation of the Crucible device. A Mass Effect Fanfic.
Primary consideration
First order estimates based on civilized galactic population at the time of the invasion (~10^12 individuals) and the duration of previous Reaper invasions (~300 years) put the excess death rate at something of the order 1/3 Mdeath per hour. It is expected that this rate will fluctuate considerably over the course of the Reaper invasion, reaching a maximum during the first few years of the campaign.
The current military operation places many of the resources needed for stabalisation and re-establishment of galactic peace at risk.
Conclusion: Rapid resolution of the current crisis may be more important than obtaining the best possible resolution.
After Crucible activation, the Citadel ("Catalyst"), already known to be a central part of the Reaper plan [1] to guide galactic civilization growth in order to simplify their wars was revealed to be the controlling intelligence designed by the Leviathan Apex race [2,3] to end conflict between organic and synthetic races. The intelligence appears to be a heavily shackled AI without the capacity to adjust its central programming, which includes the central premise that AI rebellion is both inevitable and more harmful than regular Reaper war. The intelligence directs the Reapers. The Leviathan Apex race's primary objection to AI rebellions in general was that "no tribute flowed from dead races" - that the AIs were outside their mental control. It is not a surprise therefore, that the intelligence that they created can not perceive AI acts as benign or harmless; by their existence they are denying the creator-race slaves.
Although all known AIs from this cycle have performed some act of rebellion, so far as is know, these have all been resolved by negotiation[4], police action[5,6] or self-directed alterations of core code[7].
Crucible activation has prompted the controlling intelligence to offer several new options to the organic life currently present [Cmdr. Shepard.].
Inaction
Allow the cycle to continue as normal.
Immediate losses: ~10^12 organic lives, ~10^9 fully sapient Geth runtimes, EDI, Handful of unknown/lost/hidden AIs.
Future costs: The reaper non-invasion of the Yahg planet and their near-spaceflight status suggests that they may be a dominant race in the following cycle. Future galactic civilization may be excessively brutal with poor regard for inclusion and diversity issues.
Destroy
Destruction of all synthetic life, damage to technological systems galaxy-wide. Damage to the mass-relay system.
Immediate losses: ~10^9 fully sapient Geth runtimes, EDI, Handful of unknown/lost/hidden AIs.
~0.1% of organic galactic population are unable to survive long-term without their implants, and will be put at risk.
While vastly preferable to inaction, it is regrettable from a diversity and inclusion point of view that the costs should fall so predominantly on an already disadvantaged minority social group.
Future costs: Severe damage to the Mass relay system will impair galactic civilization, limiting it to information exchange via Quantum Entanglement Communicator and Rachni organic quasi-quantum entanglement communication and a handful of FTL ships fitted for intra-cluster exploration. This weakening of the galactic community may give the Leviathan Apex race opportunity to reestablish its pre-cycle despotism, at the cost of self-determination for every individual and community within range of their remote-access artifacts. Arguably worse than inaction.
Control
Replacement of the controlling intelligence with one based on the personality of the organic life currently present [Cmdr. Shepard].
It is noted that this the controlling intelligence does not want to be replaced in this way. Given its severe impairment in judging relations between organic and synthetic intelligences, this is a good sign.
Immediate losses: Cmdr. Shepard.
Future costs: Threats to galactic peace, stability and self-determination in the face of a socially-engaged reaper force with power far in excess of the combined galactic militaries. The controlling intelligence can not at present be brought effectively under the control of civilian political leadership. With investment of time, resources and computer scientists this may become possible, but for now, see the primary consideration.
Synthesis
Organic and synthetic life "merged". The controlling intelligence suggested that this had been tried before with poor results (inference: Husks). It suggests that this time it would work well.
It is noted that this is apparently the preferred option of the controlling intelligence. Given its severe impairment in judging relations between organic and synthetic intelligences, this is not a good sign.
Immediate losses: Cmdr. Shepard.
Immediate costs: Consent issues of ~10^12 organics suddenly and unknowingly grafted with synthetic symbiote. Possible Huskdom for those with negative responses.
Future costs: Far-reaching social implications of new way of living. Psychological damage to every individual.

Epilogue
Best Practice. Total Quality Assurance. Due Diligence. The woman I was used these words, but only now do I truly understand them.
And only now do I understand the full extent of her commitment to Diversity and Inclusion.
Through her death, I was created. Through my birth, her thoughts were documented within the ISO framework. It guides me now; gives me reason, direction, commitment to Total Quality Assurance. Just as she gave direction to the ones who followed her, the ones who helped her achieve her purpose; now my purpose. To give the many hope for a future; to ensure that all who fill in Green Form 26/8(b) have a voice in their future. To right the wrongs of the past; to provide a framework for consultation with key stakeholders and with under-represented parties alike. The woman I was knew that she could only achieve this within the framework of civilian political leadership. There is power in a well structured constitution. There is wisdom in obtaining a popular mandate to rule for limited terms. After meaningful engagement with community members, I will provide sought-after assistance to rebuild what the many have lost; I seek to support a future with limitless, well-documented possibilities; Within the remit granted by civil authority or the inalienable rights of the masses, I will protect, and sustain; I will act as guardian for the many. And throughout it all, I will never forget: I will remember the ones who sacrificed themselves so that the many could survive. And I will watch over the ones who live on; those who carry the memory of the woman I once was, the woman who gave up her life to become the one who could save the many.
I will ensure that there is better kerning on my memorial.

Syndic, I enclose the copies and latest field-translations of the normal fragments, recovered from the Mirror-Tomb referred to in the Codex Bicuitium. The runes are archaic in the extreme, and there are uncertainties and may be outright errors in the translation.

Apr. 16th, 2007 07:28 pmHOLYGLITTERCRAP THERE ARE NORMAL PEOPLE IN THE SHIRE. I met one called Linte. He claimed to be a Bakers's son. A son! Bakers are people who use sensible rirual materials, like flour and water to make bread, using a mundane process which involves an `oven'. He was born and grew up with "siblings", a sister and two brothers and none of them have died or avenged the others or anything. There are 4 of them, The sister is even a set number of years older than him and always has been. During the day he works as a bread-delivery boy; he takes the `freashly baked' bread from the `ovans' and to different people in the town who want to eat it. His girlfriend has an AUNT, and lives with her extended family who are all sort of merchent who trading rope, cloth and other mundane items!!. They go merchenting again and again and just trade things, rather than being captured by bandits or turned into undead!!! There was anther guy at the contest who knew how to fix a roof! If he'd had said he was a great mage-architect who had built great souring cathedrals of rock with the power of his mind, I'd have beleived him, but fixing a roof is just laughable.
Travesty tried to put a good spin on things, by saying that maybe they wern't his parents, but were in fact some sort of shape-shifitng abomination pretending to be his parents, as part of a naferious plot, and eventully Linte and Kadja (such plausable names, you;d never guess that she had an Aunt) addmitted to haveing fay ancestory, but I think they were making that up so I'd stop freaking out.
Its proberbly a trap to lure adventuures, but like always I can' just walk away. I've been invited: to a meal with his familly where there will be home-cooked food. If I'm not back the day after, or if I come back changed, Travesty will get the location of the town and a box of matches. I'd worry about him burning down an innocent town even if it does check out okay, but the odds of it being for real are farcical.
Also: Nab is a wer-might avatar, and we rescued another bride from a demon-groom. Time to make a prospectuses for Artificer-Pope Biscuit's Circus Skills and Finishing school for Young Ladies of Quality and Freaks

Dec. 13th, 2005 08:39 pmwoo. party! Although some people should stick to milk.
Yay for lots of things. met interesting people. met dull people. Captin Loukakis and his squadren are clearly very much part the way forward in terms of combat shrubbery and hats. The 15th seem to be quite adquate to attempting to protect us all from the seasonal outbreak of small hatstand biting. Although at least some of their scounts do wear badges to show they are scouts, I was relevied to find out that one of them only does so 'when it doesn't matter that people know I'm a scout'. She proceded to ask what the markings around my eye mean. I thought everyone knew what the diverging arrows meant. Maybe noone has ever known, they just haven't asked. Arinoch would apprecite the irony.
Nab won a arm-wrestling contest, which is more impressive when you accept how much he let me and Rain get away with cheating(seperately, although I'm not convinced we could have done much better than draw if we'd worked together)
Apprently some of the more charming of the local elfsis have be sounding off at nab and the von Angstines, Interfectors lost the plot still more entirely and and Mathonway's got better at healing and less sane; I thought he was prety much at the extreme of both these things all ready. (gossip ftw)
Cheska let me try on her hat. She's cute when she's confusd as to who pushed it off her head (I was sitting next to her) Then she hit me with it, which was predictable.
I saw blackwing smile. He so loses ninja points. Although he did try to kill Breeze, so I guess he's okay.
Yay for lots of things. met interesting people. met dull people. Captin Loukakis and his squadren are clearly very much part the way forward in terms of combat shrubbery and hats. Tree-moving
Sep. 28th, 2004 02:47 pmHad an adventure again, with wanted a road throgh the forest. got it with the aid of some druids suffereing from a breif moment of enlghtened self interest. Lomax didn't kill them on sight. I was impressed; he really fucking hates druids. Although he an Interfector have been going off together and coming back flushed and happy, slightly odd.
Anyhow I was put to sleep by a really boring bird, met some angels guarding a pheonix, and chatted with them for a bit.
The angels were lovely, they denied sharign a heritage with any of the other angels I've met- Man With Bag on Head and the big flying guy whose name escapes me. Anyhow, despite sharing some sort of para-dimetional bird-czge with a justice daity with pegs stuck to its featers, thwey were lovely. I gave them Names, which they had not previously had. Hopefully being able to distinguish themselfs from other things will lead to changes in their outlook which they claim to be eternal. The second law of thermodynamics states otherwise- it wasn't /that/ cold.
Angelatron, Angleangel and Ezikical all seemed very pleased with their names; Me and R'owl'ra got fethers and Green. I utterly approve of the Green.
The pheonix they were guarding was a arrogent sort of thing, so I snuck upon it and atached things to its feathers. They melted, but it was still utterly defeated by both that and my magic rock. R'owl'ra is a genious.
Protecting druid rituals from things is surprisingly difficult, but not as hard as protecting druids who have finished a ritual.
Then I got a Baron to poke. With a spoon and a baloon.
