Airline insane, luggage proberbly in Amsterdam (my guess- they don't know)
Also I have two new t-shirts with fashionable skyteam logos on them. Woo.
still, off to watch over someones sholder as they set up detectors, so its still good in parts.
EDIT:
With the aid of my French and Itallian-speaking collegues, I have, I think, pursuaded Air France, who are in charge of loseing my luggage to deliver it to the securticty office at the front of the lab some time tonight. The security office will then call me and say somthing in Itallian. Unfortunately, this means that I'm stuck in the lab tonight, waiting for a phone call. My collegues say they'll bring back pizza.
Collegues == lovely and translatey.
The beam opperators say they are ready to go, and the detectors are mostly ready too.

I gave up and went shopping.

Then the luggage arrived. I am keeping the Horrific Orange Trousers as a warning to airlines not to lose it again. Also for purposes of Mr the Hat cosplay.
