aralli was discussing her issues with Clangers, and while I regret her suffering, it reminded me of a rather wonderful scientific talk I went to at EasterCon (Orbital 2008). I was delighted to discover that the slides were online.

It's an analysis of the orbital mechanics displayed in one of the Clanger episodes, and some speculation about the nature of the Clanger homeplanet.
