Jan. 16th, 2007 08:43 amSo the quiz thing has comprehensively proved that I don't know you very well. oops. What I think would be really awesome is if you recommend me a book or a movie or a piece of music or some other lump of culture(sculpture?) which means a lot to you and you can argue about convincingly and passionately. I'll try to read/view/listen/smell it before I see you again and then we can argue about it.
In the meanwhile, here's more Susan and Zombina:
EDIT: Initally, I was asking for things that you can uphold the value of during a discussion. Elmyra has suggested that "Well, maybe sometimes it's appropriate to just appreciate that this is what that person likes/what's influenced them.", so I I'd like recomendations of things that you like or have influanced you too, please.

Watch Pan's Labyrinth. It'll hammer at your soul and, if your should does not break, it will be tempered by the experience.
Read The Prince by Maccy Boy. The world's first self-help book. It tells you how to keep the King of France out of your castles. Need I really say more?
Or don't.
