I've started reading Godel Esher Bach: an endless golden braid. What I was actully looking for was a book on braid theory, because thats what topological quantum computers run on (Anyons obey the Pauli exclusion principle, so you can braid them). So far, what I've learnt is this:

The first rule of the theory of types is that you do not talk about the theory of types.

I just wish I could sucessfully pretend to know what all the words actully mean. I'm actully working on no longer having to highlight every single word and phrase in a paper with the "I don't know what this means" marker. So its /possibly/ about ring gates, but I have only confusion. Sorry :(
